Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026 · Private beta

These terms govern your use of GHiX during the private beta. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them. Please read the "not immigration or legal advice" section, it matters.

Not immigration or legal advice

GHiX gives you an informational, automated estimate of your visa-readiness based on the answers you provide, plus AI-assisted coaching and CV help. It is not legal, immigration, or financial advice, and it is not a guarantee of any visa, job, or outcome. GHiX is not a regulated immigration adviser and nothing in the product is regulated immigration advice. Immigration rules change and depend on facts specific to you. Always confirm decisions with an official government source or a qualified, regulated immigration adviser (in the UK, one registered with or exempt under the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner) before acting.

Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 to use GHiX. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide, both your score and your CV are only as good as what you tell us. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

AI features

Coach Xen, Coach Xia, and the CV agent are AI, not human beings. Their replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, out of date, or miss something a human coach would catch, always use your own judgement and verify anything important. Don't share information in chat that you wouldn't want processed by an AI system (see our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled).

The beta, the free tier, and paid plans

GHiX has a free tier you can use during the private beta. Because it is a beta, the product may change, have gaps, or be temporarily unavailable, and features may be added or removed.

We also offer paid plans. The price and billing terms for the plan you choose (including any trial) are shown clearly before you pay, billing recurs on the interval shown until you cancel, and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account.

Founding membership

Separately, we offer a limited founding membership: a one-time payment for a fixed period of access, capped at a limited number of seats, shown clearly at checkout before you pay. Founding membership is non-refundable, as stated at checkout, except as set out in the Refund Policy. It does not auto-renew or auto-convert into a paid subscription; after the period ends, continued access is on whatever plans are then available.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, harvest, or use automated means to access the service at scale;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or copy the scoring logic, methodology, or AI prompts behind the service;
  • disrupt, overload, probe, or attack the service or its infrastructure;
  • use the service unlawfully, to infringe anyone's rights, or to generate a CV or application containing information you know to be false;
  • misrepresent your identity or share your account with others.

Who owns what

You own the answers, CV content, and other information you submit. You grant us the permission needed to process them (including sending relevant parts to our AI provider) in order to provide the service to you, see the Privacy Policy. We own the GHiX platform, brand, and the scoring engine and methodology behind your results; nothing here transfers those to you.

No warranty; limitation of liability

During the beta the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GHiX is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on a score, an AI reply, or a generated CV. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Suspension & termination

You can stop using GHiX and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves and will revise the "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The final terms are being reviewed by counsel ahead of public launch.
